A nature based preschool servicing the childcare needs of the greater Tacoma area.
"I have worked with Hannah for a year and a half. She worked as the toddler teacher and school art teacher, working with ages Infant - Pre-K. She has an infinite amount of patience and enthusiasm for all ages. She is very passionate about teaching early child hood and art. Her activities matched the level of her students while being engaging and magical. My Pre-K class loved having Hannah and welcomed her with lots of love and excitement. The parents were also impressed with the art projects the students would take home. The would make comments such as, 'My child drew this? This is so impressive. My child loves Hannah; they talk about her a lot.' Hannah has the passion, commitment and dedication to reach children and adults." - Linda de Libero, Panther Lake Elementary Teacher
Our goal is to provide conscious, loving attention to the children in our care using a outdoor setting that nurtures their connection to nature and the world around them. A daycare that creates a deep sense of connectedness brings hope, and through hope, opportunity to change their environment now and in the future.
A deep connection to nature created through play will have a positive impact on not just a child's well-being, but also their perspective on the world, and their hope and care of it as they grow. Outdoor schooling, especially for the early childhood education years, fosters an atmosphere of wonder and discovery through self-initiated play.
Early childhood education that provides opportunity for growth in the following areas:
Social and Emotional
Language and Literacy
